Inspiration Behind Celebration:
Celebration was conceived out of spiritual reflection and a moment of musical intuition. Ronald Bell had an image from the moment when God created Adam, with angels celebrating and singing praises. However, during the collaboration of Celebration, Robert Bell recalls one of the band members saying, “come on, let’s celebrate.” Regardless of this disagreement, Celebration has become part of weddings for the past 50 years.
Biblical Application:
The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad. 25 Lord, save us! Lord, grant us success! – Psalm 118:24-25

Final Thoughts:
I remember dancing to Celebration for the first time at my sister Kathie’s wedding. This tune hasn’t grown old in the past 40 years since. In a world filled of negativity, its good hear positivity in the form of the song Celebration. If human beings would learn to focus on the good things in life, this world would become a better place to live.
